No one should be deceived by the so-called debate between the anti-immigrant Liberals and anti-immigrant Conservatives. Obama has consistently deported more immigrants even as the Republicans seek to use the issue to return to power on the back of the fervor of misguided working class folks and that majority sector of the Republicans who are now openly demanding the protection of white privilenge, an intensification of segregagtion according to race and economics.
Of course anti-immigrant legislation and actions must be opposed on the basis of a demand for liberty and liberation for the working class folk of the United States and world.
Bourgeoise liberals and bourgeois conservatives are all anti-immigrant.
